Literature for the soul: Daddy by Default

When I read the title, Daddy by Default, I was immediately intrigued. I started reading the novel and did not want to put the book down. Zane published a book called Resurrecting Midnight, which lost me in the first chapter and I did not make it half-way through the book. It was boring, confusing, and I lost interest quick. So once Daddy by Default caught my attention in the first chapter, I was completely sold. Author Pat Tucker did an amazing job making sure this novel was not only relatable, but informative and suspenseful as well. She wasted no time making sure the plot unfolded with action and drama right away.

The book is about two best friends, Parker and James, who become daddies by default to children they did not biologically create. They are both in similar situations, just with different circumstances. Parker and his wife have tried to conceive a child of their own, o.
